We were incredibly excited to share the early return for Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Over the last three months a lot of work has gone into implementing safety protocols that align with the health department’s recommendations for a safe return.

Classrooms have been carefully sanitized and soon we will start training teachers on how to maintain daily sanitizing practices, and complete student health screenings – keeping students, staff and classroom communities safe.

We understand that the shift back to in-person learning might not fit with every family’s current vision for student learning. Denver Public Schools (DPS) is providing all families with the option to stay online.

If you did not complete an online registration form for your child we are assuming that your child will attend in-person learning with the rest of the school; according to this schedule:

• October 5, 2020: Kindergarten returns
• October 12, 2020: 1st grade returns
• October 20, 2020: 2nd through 5th grade returns

Over the next few weeks we will provide instructions for arrival, descriptions for lunch and recess as well as exciting changes to our dismissal process.

The week of September 28th we expect to receive updated bus schedules, that reflect the new social distancing requirements.
